Calender App Configuration
To add a calendar to a certain page click on the plus-symbol on the left side of the screen and type "calendar" in the search field. If you can´t do that make sure first you have enough rights to edit the site.
It is currently not possible to import calendars from Microsoft Exchange.
To implement Google Calendars use the app "iFrame" and the reference link provided in google calendar settings.
**Access for unregistered Users** #
If you implemented the Calendar app and want to provide unregistered guests the right to see the events two settings must be changed: first click on the gear symbol in the top right corner and navigate to configuration/permissions. Here activate the checkbox for guests to view the calendar. Second, in the basic calendear app view, in the left row you will find an overview of your calendars. Click on the triangle button right of the calendars name and click on permissions in the drop-down-menu. Here activate the Checkbox "View Details" for the "guests" group
Managing the Calendar #
You might want to give a certain group of people the right to edit the events. As its not possible to choose single users the only workaround is to define a certain user group to be able to make the edits. In case of the Forum Spatial Data Booking List the user group "super member" was chosen. All people responsible for the Calendar were assigned the role super member additionally to their normal role and are therefore able to edit the events.
